Dhaka, August 25: The Gausia Committee, a voluntary organization in Chittagong, has launched a mobile ambulance to bathe the coronavirus (Covid-19) deceased. Divisional Commissioner Muhammad Kamrul Hasan inaugurated the ambulance on Tuesday (August 24).

"For the first time in the country, such a mobile bath has been introduced for bathing the coronavirus deceased. The car has a bath and a shroud facility. If the family of the deceased has trouble with the bath or putting the shroud, the vehicle can go and make all the arrangements," Hasan said.

Moreover, he commented that the people of the Gausia Committee have been engaged in the service of humanity since the beginning of the coronavirus pandemic.

The inauguration ceremony was presided over by Senior Vice President of Anjuman-E- Rahmania Ahmadia Sunnia Trust Muhammad Mohsin and was attended by Additional Divisional Commissioner (Development) Muhammad Mizanur Rahman, Chittagong Deputy Commissioner Mohammad Mominur Rahman and Chittagong Civil Surgeon Sheikh Fazle Rabbi.
