COVID-19 leaves one more person dead in Bangladesh

Dhaka, 9 October 2022 : One person died in the country from 8 am on Saturday to 8 am on Sunday due to coronavirus.

With this, the number of dead in the country has increased to 29 thousand 381 people. At the same time, another 409 people have been diagnosed with corona. With this, the total number of identified patients stands at 20 lakh 29 thousand 723.

On Sunday (October 9), the regular press release of the Department of Health on Corona also said that 4 thousand 11 samples were collected in 24 hours from 8 am on Saturday to 8 am on Sunday. 4 thousand 114 samples were tested. The detection rate against the test is 9.94 percent. The total detection rate since the beginning of the epidemic is 13.61 percent.

Meanwhile, 651 people have recovered from Corona in one day in the country. So far 19 lakh 69 thousand 995 people have recovered.

On March 8, 2020, the first case of coronavirus was detected in the country. After 10 days on March 18, the Department of Health reported the first death of a patient due to Corona.
