Covid-19: PM Hasina's sister Sheikh Rehana gets vaccinated
Dhaka, February 24: Coronavirus vaccine has been received by Sheikh Rehana, the youngest daughter of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and sister of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, on Wednesday (February 24) morning. She was vaccinated according to the country's customary rules, Assistant Press Secretary to the Prime Minister MM Imrul Kayes Rana said.
It is learned that vaccination has started simultaneously from February 7 in 1,005 centers across the country. This activity is going on every day from 8:30 am to 2:30 pm.
Till Tuesday (February 23), 24 lakh 91 thousand 53 people have been vaccinated.
Another 2 million doses of the vaccine arrived at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport in Dhaka around 12:15 am on Tuesday. With this, 9 million doses of Oxford-AstraZeneca coronavirus vaccine made at the Serum Institute of India have arrived in Bangladesh.
