Coronavirus Covid: No death, 304 test positive on Saturday across Bangladesh
Dhaka, June 18: The detection rate and daily coronavirus caseload reduced a little on Saturday, as 304 people tested positive for the virus in the last 24 hours.
The country's caseload has increased to 19,55,731, while the daily detection rate was 5.94 percent.
However, no fatality was reported in the last 24 hours, due to which the death toll remained unchanged- 29,131.
In between Friday and Saturday, 47 people recovered from the disease. So far, a total of 19,05,758 people have recovered from the disease in Bangladesh.
According to the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS), 5,122 samples were tested.
Among the 304 new cases, Dhaka reported 280. Chittagong accounted for 12, Cox's Bazar eight, Gazipur two, Sirazganj and Sylhet one each.
The overall death toll remains 13.76 percent, while the death rate remains at 1.49 percent.
