Covid: Two dead, daily detection rate crosses 10.50 percent on Friday across Bangladesh

Dhaka, September 16: Two people died in 24 hours from 8 am on Thursday to 8 am on Friday due to Covid. With this, the number of deaths due to the viral disease in the country has increased to 29,339 people.

At the same time, 363 new people tested positive for Covid. Since the beginning of the pandemic, the total number of confirmed cases in the country has increased to 20,16,946. The detection rate against the test was 10.87 percent on Friday.

The total detection rate since the beginning of the pandemic stands at 13.61 percent.

According to the Directorate General of Health Services, 3,341 samples were collected and 3,340 samples were tested across 881 laboratories in the aforementioned 24 hours.

Meanwhile, 260 patients recovered in 24 hours from 8 am on Thursday to 8 am on Friday. A total of 19,60,047 people have recovered.
