Coronavirus Covid: Two deaths, 253 new cases across Bangladesh on Friday
Dhaka, August 5: Bangladesh's coronavirus death toll has increased to 29,302 after another two people died within 24 hours, between Thursday and Friday.
During this time, 253 new cases were registered as the caseload swelled to 20,06,899.
The daily detection rate was 5.06 percent.
According to the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS), the country collected 4,970 samples and tested 5,002 samples across 880 private and government laboratories in the country.
Bangladesh has, so far, tested a total of 1,46,35,753 samples.
Meanwhile, 933 people recovered from the disease, taking the recovery total to 19,46,762.
