Rains Dhaka experiences drizzle, drop in temperature
Dhaka, January 20: The sun has not been seen in the capital since morning. West / southwest cold breeze has increased the feeling of winter. In this situation, drizzle started in the capital Dhaka on Wednesday (January 20) at around 11:45 am.
According to the forecast for the next 24 hours at 9 am on this day, there may be light or drizzle rain in Dhaka division at this time of winter. Not only Dhaka division, but also Mymensingh, Sylhet, Khulna, Barisal and Chittagong divisions are forecast to receive light or drizzle.
This trend of drizzle will continue today and tomorrow Thursday (January 21) and will be in the form of very little rain or drizzle. The day after tomorrow, Friday (January 22), the temperature will drop further.
Meteorologist Md Abul Kalam Mallick said this on Wednesday (January 20).
"There will be drizzle today and tomorrow and there may be very little rain or drizzle," he said. Then there will be no more. When the rain stops, the temperature will drop a little more from the day after tomorrow. When the temperature drops below 10 degrees Celsius, a mild cold wave will begin. Later, the temperature will drop to 6 to 8 degrees Celsius in some areas.
Abul Kalam Mallick said, winter is growing. It is not only the cold that increases the cold. There are also cold spells, but the feeling of winter is less. It depends on many controllers.
The meteorological department further said that the increase in light pressure is located in West Bengal and adjoining areas. The normal light pressure of the season is located in the South Bay.
