Rainfall Dhaka experiences short spell of rain on Saturday morning
Dhaka, November 13: It has been raining in Dhaka since this morning. The sky in Dhaka was cloudy the day before. The sun was not seen this morning due to the clouds. It started raining in the later morning till 10:30 am. Office-going people faced trouble due to rains.
However, the meteorological department had forecast light rain in Rajshahi, Dhaka, Khulna, Barisal and Chittagong divisions for the next 24 hours from 6:00 pm on Friday. Elsewhere in the country, the weather will be mainly dry with temporary partly cloudy skies.
During this time, night temperatures may remain almost unchanged across the country and daytime temperatures may drop by 1 to 2 degrees Celsius, the forecast said. However, the meteorological office also said that the rain trend may decrease from Sunday.
According to the Meteorological Department, the low pressure in the south-west Bay of Bengal and adjoining areas has weakened and shifted to the north-west, first manifesting as light pressure and then as a slight pressure in North Tamil Nadu and adjoining areas. It can become insignificant. Most of the western light pressure is located in the foothills of the Himalayas, West Bengal and adjoining areas. Normal monsoon light pressure is prevailing in the South Bay. The extension extends to the North Bay.
