Rainfall Dhaka experiences sporadic rainfall
Dhaka, September 13: It rained intermittently in the capital today (Tuesday) morning. Due to the pronounced low pressure over India, it is raining all over the country. However, the trend of rain is more in the southern and central regions.
Places like Barisal, Khulna and Chittagong also experienced rainfall.
The sky of Dhaka was covered with clouds since Tuesday morning. The city experienced intermittent rainfall. Office-bound people in the city suffered due to this. Many rushed to the office while it was raining. Because of the rain, there was a traffic crisis in some places. At the same time rickshaw or CNG driven auto rickshaw drivers asked for extra fare.
According to the Meteorological Department, 32.2 millimeters of rain has fallen in Dhaka in the last 24 hours till Tuesday morning.
The Meteorological Department has said in the weather forecast for Dhaka and surrounding areas for the next 6 hours from 7 am, light to moderate rain or rain with thunder. During this time, the sky may be partly cloudy to partly cloudy. The maximum temperature in Dhaka was 28.8 degrees Celsius on Monday. The weather department also said that the day temperature may remain unchanged.
According to the weather forecast till 6 pm on Tuesday, Khulna, Barisal, Dhaka, Rajshahi and most places of Chittagong division and many places of Rangpur, Mymensingh and Sylhet divisions may experience light to moderate rain or thunder with temporary gusty wind and lightning. At the same time, moderate to heavy rainfall may occur in some parts of the country.
