Dhaka, July 4: Two working days have passed after the five-day holiday on the occasion of Eid-ul-Azha. Even on the third working day on Tuesday, the roads of the traffic-congested city of Dhaka have not returned to normal. Despite the opening of all kinds of public and private offices, the pressure of public transport on the streets of Dhaka is still very low. Private cars were not seen as well. As a result, most of the streets of the capital are still almost empty.

As the movement of people on the road is less, the movement of private cars, motorcycles, CNG, rickshaws is also relatively less. However, compared to the last two days, the number of people and public transport on the streets of Dhaka increased slightly on Tuesday. However, there was no scene of traffic congestion on the congested roads.

The residents of the capital are moving with ease as there is no traffic jam. However, the passenger pressure was more today compared to the last two days. Due to this reason, before the start of the office, passengers have to face some difficulties in getting on the public transport in some areas. However, after 10:30 in the morning there was not that pressure of passengers in public transport.

Md. Taslim, the driver of Aakash Paribahan, said that the passenger pressure was a little higher this morning before the start of the office compared to the last two days. The number of cars on the road has also increased slightly. But there is no traffic jam on the road. In our opinion, there will be no traffic jam on the roads of Dhaka this week. Because most of the people who went away from Dhaka for Eid have not returned yet.

On the other hand, Masud Rana, a senior reporter of Jago News who visited Jatrabari, Rayerbagh, Gulistan and Secretariat areas, said that the movement of public transport and private vehicles on the roads of these areas is very less. As a result there is no traffic jam on the road.

He said that public transport was seen standing for long time in Rayerbagh region. The transport workers are shouting for the passengers. However, most public transports are seen leaving with limited passengers. However, the traffic pressure at Mayor Hanif flyover is a little higher.
