Dhaka, Oct 5: Criticising Awami League General Secretary Obaidul Quader's comment "There has been a setting. America needs Delhi. There is Delhi, we are also there", BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam said, "What did he mean by this? Did Delhi tell you to continue to do your wrongdoings? Did Delhi say there is no need of elections? Did Delhi ask you to forcefully announce elections? Say these clearly."

Mirza Fakhrul said, "Awami League is now oiling so much that its general secretary says there is no fear. There has been a compromise. Then he admitted that there was no compromise in so many days. In fact, you will not find such a big liar in the world. Earlier, the Minister of State said that there was a discussion. In fact, there was no discussion. Said the meeting was held. In fact, there was no meeting. We all know how much they lobbied to take pictures."

He said these things while addressing the chief guest at the professional convention at the Engineering Institute of the capital on Wednesday afternoon.

BNP Secretary General said, "Wrong-headed person is sitting in power illegally. They have no validity. As the people of the country do not trust them, the people of the democratic world have also said that we do not trust you anymore. Countries that want to see democracy institutionalized around the world have made it clear that there were no elections in 2014, and no elections in 2018 either. This time also there can be no election under them. Elections under them will never be validated."

Criticizing Sheikh Hasina's speech in London, Mirza Fakhrul said that her words are so ugly that there is no language to condemn. But she has told some truths in her statement. That is - everything that happens in this country happens at the behest of Sheikh Hasina. It is proven in the confession of throwing Khaleda Zia out of the cantonment house. This is a clear proof that there is no need for judiciary in this country. Sheikh Hasina's decision is the decision.

He said BNP has been carrying out peaceful movements on the streets for two years. It is not that BNP will not retaliate if someone attacks its peaceful movement.
