Dhaka, Nov 15: The High Court has commented that the doctors have started business with the patients by excluding the medical services. The court also felt that this message should go to the nation. So that people will turn away from such business in future.

The court also commented that the treatment system is under the control of the syndicate in the name of serving the victims. The court also said that earlier, if a family member became a doctor, their relatives would open a clinic. Now not the doctor's family, but whoever is running the clinic business. Moreover, patients are being taken from government hospitals to clinics through brokers.

A bench comprising Justice Md. Saifur Rahman and Justice Bashir Ullar of the High Court made the comments in the hearing of the anticipatory bail application of four persons including the owner and doctor of 'The Japan Bangladesh Hospital (Clinic)' of Habiganj in a case filed on Tuesday on the charge of patient death due to wrong treatment. The court sent four people including the doctor to jail without bail.
