Dhaka, June 12, 2022: Awami League General Secretary and Minister for Road Transport and Bridges Obaidul Quader has warned the BNP not to play with fire in the wake of recent fire incidents in different parts of the country including Sitakunda.

Warning the BNP leaders, he said, "If you play with fire, it will burn you in the fire and your consequences will be terrible."

He was speaking at the triennial conference of Mohammadpur Thana and Ward Awami League at Mohammadpur Town Hall in the capital on Sunday (June 12) morning.

"The Awami League has taken a stand against the people," said Obaidul Quader in response to BNP secretary general Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir's remarks. The birth of Awami League will be on the highway, on the highway, it will never leave the highway.

The Awami League general secretary said in the recent fire incident in Sitakunda, whether it is sabotage or accident, all the information is with the detectives. The means of investigation will come out with accurate information.
