Dhaka, Nov 25: Foreign Minister AK Abdul Momen MP said that election tide is blowing in Bangladesh now. The condition of the country is very good, the national election will be held in a fair and peaceful manner at the announced time.

The minister made the remarks while talking to reporters after Friday prayers at Olikul Shiromani Hazrat Shahjalal (RA) Dargah Mosque in Sylhet on Friday afternoon.

Meanwhile, the foreign minister said that under the leadership of Awami League and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, we have done a lot of work for the development of the country in the past 15 consecutive years. Now our exam, he expressed hope that the people of the country will pass us in large numbers.

Meanwhile, the foreign minister also said that we are ready to accept good advice or advice from foreigners. And when they scold us, we know how to respond. The minister referred to the American government as a very pragmatic government and said that America did not support us in 1971. But after victory they gave us support for UN membership. He expressed hope that after the formation of the government like in the past, they will be forced to support Bangladesh this time as well.
