Dhaka, July 23: Twenty passengers of the ro-ro ferry Shahjalal on the Shimulia-Banglabazar waterway were injured when they collided with the 17th pillar of the Padma Bridge. The accident took place when the driver lost control on the way from Banglabazar Ghat in Madharipur to Shimulia Ghat in Munshiganj around 9:45 am on Friday. However, there was no major danger as the ferry was brought under control immediately. Later the driver came to Shimuliaghat without any hindrance and anchored the ferry.
