Five arrested on anti-state suspicion from Swamibagh in the capital

Own representative, Dhaka, December 10: Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) arrested five people in a raid on a house in the capital's Swamibagh area. They were conspiring against the state.

Khandaker Al Moyeen, commander of RAB's legal and media wing, said on Thursday (December 9) evening that a RAB-3 expedition team had cordoned off a house at Mitali School Lane, 59, Swamibagh since the afternoon. Five people were arrested after conducting a raid on the house. They are being interrogated and screened. Then legal action will be taken against them.

He said the detainees were initially known to be involved in an anti-state conspiracy. Details will be announced tomorrow.

RAB-3 Assistant Director (Media) ASP Farzana Haque said RAB-3 members surrounded a house at Mitali School Lane No. 59 in Swamibagh. Officers from the RAB headquarters came and started the operation. Later some people were arrested from there.
