Former Bangladesh PM Khaleda Zia hit COVID-19 positive

Dhaka: Former Bangladesh PM Khaleda is hit by COVID-19.

The report of the corona test shows that samples for his corona test were submitted to the ICDDR's laboratory on the 10th. Corona samples were then tested using RT PCR method. Former Prime Minister Khaleda Zia, 65, has been convicted of two counts of corruption. He was sentenced to three years in prison. Following the outbreak of coronavirus infection in the country, the government granted him temporary release on March 25 last year on condition of "humanitarian consideration".

Since then, he has been receiving treatment under the supervision of private doctors from his rented house in Gulshan. Contact with him from outside is also limited.
