Former BNP MP Nadim Mostafa arrested
Dhaka, November 23: Advocate Nadim Mostafa, executive member of BNP's central committee and former member of parliament from Rajshahi-5 (Puthia-Durgapur) constituency, has been arrested by the police.
A team of Rajshahi District Detective Police (DB) arrested him from his home in Pathanpara of Rajshahi city on Tuesday (November 22) around 12 noon.
It is known that a person named Mazir Uddin was killed in Baneshwar, Puthiya on 5th January 2015. In this case, the court issued an arrest warrant against Nadim Mostafa on January 11. He was granted six weeks anticipatory bail by the High Court last March.
Rajshahi District Police Spokesperson and Additional Superintendent of Police Ifte Khair Alam said there was a warrant against him in a 2015 murder case. Rajshahi district detective police arrested Nadim Mostafa in this case. Details will be given later.
