Mitu Murder Case Former SP Babul Akter was involved in wife Mitu's murder, says PBI
Dhaka, May 12: The Police Bureau of Investigation (PBI) has said former superintendent of police Babul Akter was involved in the murder of his wife Mahmuda Akter Mitu.
Reports quoting PBI chief Banaj Kumar Majumder said the former cop will be produced in court soon.
A murder case will also be inititated against him, Majumder said.
Mitu was killed on the morning of June 5, 2016 by armed assailants, who shot and stabbed her as she was on the way to pick up her son from the school bus on Nagar Nizam Road.
