Dgaka, September 21: The government wants to celebrate Victory Day on December 16 in a grand and colorful manner. Various plans have been made. This time there will be a colorful parade of the combined forces in the National Parade Square. India, Russia, Mexico and Bhutan will join the victory celebration.

The decision was taken at an inter-ministerial meeting to formulate and implement a national program on the occasion of Victory Day. Liberation War Affairs Minister AKM Mozammel Haque presided over the meeting. India, Russia, Mexico and Bhutan will be invited to attend the Victory Day celebrations. A decision has also been taken in this regard. They will join the parade.

Due to the coronavirus, a joint military parade of the armed forces at the National Parade Square in Tejgaon on Victory Day on December 16 last year was cancelled. Other events were also brief. It has been decided that this time there will be an exhibition of the mechanical fleet of the development activities of the ministry as part of the parade of the combined forces.

In this regard, the Minister for Liberation War Affairs AKM Mozammel Haque said, "InshaAllah, this time I will be able to celebrate Victory Day naturally. The program is being taken accordingly. We are taking initiative to make Victory Day glorious and colorful. This time there will be a parade in Parade Square, it has been decided in the inter-ministerial meeting."

He said India, Russia, Mexico and Bhutan would be invited to join the Victory Day celebrations. A decision has also been taken in this regard. They will join the parade.

The Liberation War Affairs Minister said that the initial program of Victory Day was decided in that meeting. There will be another inter-ministerial meeting. Then things will be clearer.

The way we celebrate Victory Day every year, it will be the same again. But the body will be a little different. On the occasion of Bangabandhu's centenary celebrations and the golden jubilee of independence, this year we will try our best to make this event as colorful and captivating as possible.
