From Dhaka to Jaldhaka, I did not see a single hut: Information Minister

He said this while addressing the chief guest at the opening ceremony of the tri-annual conference of Awami League of Jaldhaka Upazila of Nilphamari on Saturday (July 30) around 3 pm. Upazila Awami League Acting President Professor Golam Mostafa presided over this conference at Jaldhaka Government College ground.

Addressing BNP, Hasan Mahmud said, "Elections will be held in the country on time." We want the election to be held in a festive atmosphere with the participation of all parties. We hope that BNP will participate in the elections. But the election train will not stop for anyone. Just as the train of 2014 did not stop for anyone, the election train of 2018 also did not stop for anyone. So the election that will be held at the beginning of 2024 will not stop for anyone.

He said, 'Yesterday I saw BNP marching with hurricane. I suddenly thought that the election symbol of BNP has changed or not, has it become a hurricane or not? And people are worried when the hurricane will turn into a petrol bomb again. Because they threw petrol bombs on people.

The Information Minister said, "In 2018, they participated in the elections by uniting all the parties and got only five seats in that election. For this they are afraid of elections. That is why they are trying to spread confusion about the election. I would request BNP not to spread such confusion but go to the people.

Awami League's joint secretary also said, "The victory of Awami League is certain in the next election as well." Bangladesh Awami League is well organized in the whole country under the leadership of Sheikh Hasina. As our team evaluates leadership at the grassroots level, they are being placed in leadership positions at various levels. We are highly organized. I strongly believe that Sheikh Hasina will win the next election as well. That is why BNP is worried.
