Own Correspondent, Dhaka, Sept 15: Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has said that her government wants the participation of all political parties in the upcoming general elections.

She expressed strong confidence that the countrymen will vote for the Awami League again to maintain the continuity of ongoing development.

The Prime Minister said, "We want everyone to participate in the elections, and if no one does it, we cannot close our constitution because of the decision of the party. According to the provisions of the constitution, the democratic process will continue in the country."

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina said this at a press conference held on Wednesday. This press conference was held at Ganabhaban on his recent visit to India. She visited India from September 5 to 8 at the invitation of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The press conference started at Ganobhaban at 4:10 pm. In the beginning, the Prime Minister read out a written statement at the press conference. After that, the Chief Minister answered the questions of the journalists.

In response to a question regarding whether the Awami League will participate in the next election as a coalition or as a single party, the Prime Minister said that time will tell whether the Awami League will participate in the next election as a coalition or as a single party.

She said, "We have elected 14 parties in the alliance. Jatiya Party held separate elections. However, we were in agreement. But, only time will tell who will be where in future elections. And Awami League works liberally, its doors are open."

She highlighted the socio-economic development of the country and said, "I strongly believe that people will vote for Awami League after doing so much work. If you want to continue this ongoing development trend, there is nothing to do. That is the will of the people. In that case, those who were always with us in the elections will remain with us, there is no objection."

The Prime Minister said that in any election, the change in nomination is very normal.

"Field wise we will check who has a chance to win and who doesn't and there is still more than a year left for the election. It will become clear as time goes by. Who will be with us, who will not be with us, or whether there will be a new alliance, and if there is a new alliance, there is no problem," said the Prime Minister.
