Dhaka, August 28: As per the rules, the High Court has ordered to take the necessary measures to give Professor Hasina Begum the responsibility of Acting Principal of Viqarunnisa Noon School and College. The concerned have been asked to take action in this regard within the next 30 days. According to the two circulars, the acting principal has been resolved and instructed to inform the court.

At the same time, as per two separate circulars of the Ministry of Education, the petitioner was not given the charge of Acting Principal of Viqarunnisa Noon School and College as the senior teacher, why should the inaction of the respondents not be declared illegal and illegal and the circulars of the Ministry of Education to give the charge of Acting Principal to the petitioner as the senior teacher of Viqarunnisa Noon School and College? The court wanted to know why the order will not be given.

Within the next two weeks, the Secretary of the Ministry of Education (Secondary and Higher Education Department) and the Directorate of Secondary and Higher Education have been asked to respond to this rule, along with the Director General (DG) of the Ministry of Education.

The bench consisting of Justice Md. Nazrul Islam Talukder and Justice Khizir Hayat of Robabar High Court gave this order after the preliminary hearing of the writ filed in this regard. Supreme Court lawyer Mohammad Siddique Ullah Mia heard on behalf of the petitioner teacher Hasina Begum.

Lawyer Mohammad Siddique Ullah Miah said that as per the Ministry of Education circular dated 6th June 2011 and 9th July 2012, the petitioner was not given the duty of Acting Principal as the senior teacher of Viqarunnisa Noon School and College, challenging the inaction of the respondents and seeking directions to assign the duty of Acting Principal to the petitioner in the High Court. Filed by Hasina Begum, the senior assistant professor of the institution.

Lawyer Mohammad Siddiq Ullah Mia also said that the petitioner Hasina Begum is the senior teacher of Viqarunnisa Noon School and College and according to the circulars of the Ministry of Education (July 9, 2011 and 2012), the senior teacher will perform the duties of acting principal in the absence of the principal of the institution. As a result, although Hasina Begum was supposed to perform the duties of the acting principal in the absence of the principal of the institution, Kamrun Nahar, the former principal and member secretary of the governing body, violated all the laws and filed a writ petition against the decision of Keka Roy Chowdhury as the acting principal. The court gave this order after the preliminary hearing of the writ today.
