Heatwaves in three divisions including Dhaka
Dhaka, April 2: Mild to moderate heat waves are blowing over Dhaka, Rajshahi and Khulna divisions, including Moulvibazar and Barisal districts and may continue.
The Meteorological Department said in a 24-hour forecast for the next 24 hours on Friday (April 2). They say day and night temperatures across the country may remain almost unchanged.
The highest temperature recorded on Thursday was 38.8 degrees Celsius in Ishwardi. The highest temperature recorded in Dhaka was 38 degrees Celsius.
According to the forecast for Kalbaishakhi, there may be temporary gusts / thundershowers in Brahmanbaria, Comilla and Kishoreganj districts, Mymensingh and Sylhet divisions today. There may also be scattered hailstorms somewhere. Elsewhere in the country, the weather may be mainly dry.
The light pressure in the Andaman Sea and adjoining areas is currently in the same area as the obvious light pressure. Most of the western light pressure is located in West Bengal and adjoining areas.
