Hero Alam was nominated by BNP to humiliate Parliament: Obaidul Quader

He said, "Fakhrul has so much love for Hero Alam."

"Hero Alam is now zero. Hero Alam was nominated by the Fakhruls to humiliate the Parliament," he said.

Obaidul Quader said this at a peace rally organized at the Kamrangirchar Government Hospital grounds in the capital on Saturday afternoon. Dhaka Metropolitan South Awami League organized this peace rally against BNP-Jamaat's terrorism, militancy, anarchy, apathy and anti-national conspiracy.

Abu Ahmed Mannafi, president of Dhaka Metropolitan South Awami League, also spoke at the meeting, Awami League presidium member Mofazzal Hossain Chowdhury Maya Bir Bikram, advocate Kamrul Islam and Dr. Mustafa Jalal Mohiuddin, Joint General Secretary Mahbub Ul Alam Hanif and others.

General secretary of Awami League said, 'Giving power to BNP means going from light to darkness. We are not giving any counter program to BNP. They are doing program in Nayapaltan, we are doing it in Kamrangirchar. If it were the other way around, I would have done it on Bangabandhu Avenue.

Commenting that BNP does not care, he said, "There is no rebuttal, but we will have some program every day until the next election." Obaidul Quader said about BNP's march, "Their downfall has started." The people are not with BNP's false claims. Leaders and workers are also decreasing in their program.
He said, he can see colorful dreams of the movement. But this dream will never be fulfilled. BNP talks about mass uprising, but it could not do mass movement. When will the uprising? What year? Now say after the next election.

Regarding the upcoming national elections, the general secretary of Awami League said, "The game will be played, but where is the opponent?" The opponent has become soft. The game of movement has been defeated. Now the election is left. The final will be played in the election. We don't want a weak opponent, we want a strong opponent. The election will be fair.
