Dhaka, April 29: Holy Eid-ul-Fitr is knocking on the door. In the meantime, the holiday of many government and non-government organizations has started from Friday (April 29). As a result, the pressure of homebound people has started in the capital from 3 pm on Thursday (April 28).

Eid holiday starts from tomorrow Friday (April 29). So on Thursday (April 28) after office, many people are going home to spend Eid holidays. At the counters of Sayedabad bus terminal, the crowds increase as the evening progresses, and at night the crowds increase even more.

However, the words of those involved in transportation are different. They say that the pressure of Eid passengers during normal time every year is much less than that. Most of those who are going have bought advance tickets. Thursdays have fewer passengers at the counters. Meanwhile, passengers say they are going home earlier to alleviate the suffering during Eid.

It was learned that passengers and bus counters were talking at Sayedabad bus terminal in the capital on Thursday evening.

Many have come to the bus counters at the end of Iftar. Some alone, some together with friends, some with children and family members. They are all going home with Eid shopping and other necessities.

This time the games holiday is also going to be in a few phases. Monir Hossain works in Garments. He is going to his village home in Sylhet as the facility is closed. At that time, he said, "The garments are off so I am leaving today. There may be a problem with getting tickets tomorrow or the day after tomorrow so I am going earlier."

The number of passengers in the evening was more than in the afternoon. However, the ticket seller of Shyamoli Paribahan, Pabitra, said something different about this. "There are not as many passengers as I expected during the Eid holidays," he said. "It will be seen from tomorrow how the pressure of the people has increased."

Aminul Islam Tushar, counter master of Green Line Transport, said, "All our passengers are those who have booked advance tickets. The new passengers who are coming today are not getting tickets. If you don't accept the new bus, you are not going to give a new ticket to anyone."
