Noakhali Murder Housewife hacked to pieces in Noakhali
Dhaka, October 8: Just days after the video of domestic abuse of a housewife surfaced, another housewife was hacked to pieces in Noakhali district of Bangladesh.
According to reports, the body was recovered from a paddy field on Wednesday afternoon in Subarnachar upazila.
The deceased has been identified as 42-year-old Nur Jahan Begum, wife of Abdul Barek of Charjabbar union.
Confirming the incident, Charjabbar OC Shahed Uddin said two pieces of the dismembered body have been recovered.
The deceased's son, Humayun Kabir (28), said his mother had gobe missing from Wednesday morning.
The body was later discovered by a local who had gone to collect snails from the paddy field.
As news spread, Kabir went and identified his mother.
The body has been sent to a morgue for postmortem.
Police have started an investigation.
