Human chain in the capital against militancy and communalism

Dhaka, December 11: Jatiyo Cholochitra Manobadhikar Sanstha has organised a human chain against militancy, fundamentalism and communalism to protest against the vandalism of the sculpture of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman. The human chain program was held in front of the National Press Club on Friday (December 11).

Speakers at the human chain said, "Pakistan-loving militants and fundamentalists have no right to stay in this country."

"These fundamentalists must be expelled from this country. This country belongs to Bangabandhu. So, no one can stay in this country except Bangabandhu's soldiers. The heinous crime committed by the fundamentalists by breaking the sculpture of Bangabandhu, their roots must be uprooted now."

Abdul Matin Bhuiyan, cultural secretary of Dhaka Metropolitan South Awami League, Rafiq Shahed, vice-president of Awami Information Technology League, Mir Saiful Islam, vice-president of National Film Janakalyan Human Rights Organization and others spoke under the chairmanship of Nur Md. Monir, advisor of the organization.
