Dengue Husband, son and daughter in same hospital in dengue, housewife taking care of everything alone
Own Correspondent, Dhaka, 20 September 2023: When almost all members of the same family are affected by dengue, the suffering goes beyond limits. Three members of the same family are being treated at DNCC Covid Hospital in Mohakhali. Three people in a family of four are affected by this disease.
Husband, son and daughter - 3 people are admitted in this hospital. The husband is undergoing treatment in the male ward on the fourth floor. Two boys and girls are receiving treatment on the 2nd floor. Raojana, the housewife, is trying hard alone.
Tauseef is the elder of the two boys and girls. He is 7 years old. He studied in class one in a school in Lalbagh. Little girl Nova. He is 5 years old. Read in the nursery.
Raojana said that they live in Lalbagh of old Dhaka. On September 15, her husband Suman was diagnosed with fever. He was admitted to DNCC Covid Hospital. Two days later two boys and girls were affected. They were also admitted to the hospital due to weakness and problems of not eating and drinking. The whole family is in this hospital for the last 5 days. He also said that as Swami Suman is very healthy, he is being given a discharge today. Children are also much healthier than before.
The doctors on duty said that both boys and girls are on the healthy side. In our observation. They can also be discharged within a day or two.
According to the data of DNCC Covid Hospital, the number of admitted patients has decreased slightly in the last two days. Most of the patients of the hospital come from far away or outside Dhaka. 77 people were newly admitted to the hospital in the last 24 hours. On the other hand, 71 patients were discharged. But no one died today.
