Own Correspondent, Dhaka, Nov 15: Regarding the murder of Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET) student Fardin Noor Parash, Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal said that we have not yet received any such irrefutable information.

He said this in response to questions from reporters after a discussion meeting on the occasion of the 9th anniversary of Rajarbagh Naval Police in the capital on Monday evening.

The Home Minister told the reporters that we will inform you when we get the evidence of Fardin's murder. We talk about facts. The information has yet to come with any irrefutable evidence. When asked about Fardin's drug involvement, he said, "We cannot say anything at the moment."

Meanwhile, the police could not reveal the mystery of the murder of Fardin until Monday (November 14). Those related to the investigation say that as some new issues have come to the fore, work is underway to uncover 'clues' about them. As a result, it takes time to fully unravel the mystery.

Fardin's involvement with drugs has been alleged. However, dismissing the allegation, his family claims that Fardin was never involved with drugs. He was very talented. Fardin was not from a rich family, so he had to struggle and grew up. His father's income is not much. In this situation, Fardin used to do coaching and tutoring to meet the cost of his studies. He used to pay the expenses of his two younger brothers from that money.

BUET student Fardin Noor Parash was missing since November 5. On the same day, his father Kazi Noor Uddin lodged a general diary (GD) in this regard at Rampura police station in the capital. Naval police recovered Fardin's body from Shitalakshya river in Narayanganj at around 6 pm on November 7, two days after his disappearance.

After that the police interrogated his two friends Bushra and Shirsha Samshapta. Then last Thursday (November 10) the police arrested Bushra from his house in Rampura. On the same day, the court remanded him for five days in the Fardin murder case. Bushra is a student of a private university in the capital.
