Own Correspondent, Dhaka, Sept 21: Awami League General Secretary and Road Transport and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader said if Sheikh Hasina loses, Bangladesh will also lose.

He said the conspirators may not know that, like Bangabandhu, Sheikh Hasina also does not know how to retreat, and she is not afraid. If Sheikh Hasina is not in power, Bangladesh will no longer exist. If she (Sheikh Hasina) loses, Bangladesh will lose. The independence of Bangladesh will be lost, and the spirit of the liberation war will be lost.

He said these in the conference of Lalbagh police station and wards 23, 24, 25 and 26 Awami League at Nawabganj Park in Lalbagh of the capital on Tuesday (September 20) afternoon.

In response to Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir's statement that the streets will be occupied by BNP from now on, Awami League General Secretary said, "If you want to protest, protest peacefully on the streets. Do not create any kind of anarchy in the name of movement. The highway is not leased to anyone."

Obaidul Quader said that BNP has sent some people to the field to protest.

"We will see who stays for how long. During the last election, the state of the 20-party alliance was a mess," he said.

Warning the leaders and activists not to break the discipline of the party, he said that Sheikh Hasina will not let those who create chaos.

"You cannot become a leader by sloganeering, by creating chaos, by showing strength. Whoever is popular in the area, he will be the leader there," he added.
