IGP tells money is being brought from foreign to create conspiracy against Bangladesh

Dhaka, 26 December 2021: Many are conspiring against Bangladesh by bringing money from abroad, said Bangladesh Inspector General of Police (IGP). Benazir Ahmed.

The IGP was speaking as the chief guest at a function to distribute winter clothes and educational materials among disadvantaged children at the Zumbangla school premises in the capital's Segunbagicha on Saturday (December 25).

On the occasion of the birth centenary of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, Zumbangla Youth Foundation organized distribution of winter clothes and educational materials.

Benazir Ahmed said, "Bengalis are truly a patriotic nation. Whenever Bengalis are united for the country, they have snatched victory. 'He said,' Bengali nation does not mean defeat, we will not accept defeat.

We do not have to talk about which continent Bangladesh is located in now. We must move forward.

Thanking Zumbangla, the IGP said that today's children are the future of tomorrow. These children will work for the country in the coming days, will contribute. We see the brilliance of potential in each of the children. I saw the spark of possibility in their eyes. Personally, I am overwhelmed by the activities of Zumbangla.

Prizes were distributed among the meritorious students of Zumbangla School and the winners of various competitions. In addition, winter clothes, educational materials and quality food were distributed among more than 400 disadvantaged children. Later, on the occasion of the golden jubilee of independence, a pleasant cultural program was performed by the students of Zumbangla School.

Zeeshan Mirza, President of Bangladesh Police Women's Welfare Association (Punak) was present on the occasion as the guest of honor. Among others, the main patron of Zumbangla Youth Foundation and Additional DIG of Bangladesh Police spoke. Moniruzzaman, Vice-President Jerin Sultana. Ruhul Amin Selim, President of Zumbangla Youth Foundation presided over the function.
