Own Correspondent, Dhaka, Oct 12: Education Minister Dipu Moni said that it is not easy to implement the new curriculum in 33,000 educational institutions.

She said this at an event in the capital on Tuesday (October 11).

Education Minister said, "Our new curriculum has been prepared. At present, it is being piloted (experimental) in 62 educational institutions in class VI. Its feedback is very good. As easy as piloting in 62 educational institutions is, implementing it in 33,000 educational institutions is not easy, as there are various challenges involved. Not everything will change overnight."

Dipu Moni said that four lakh teachers have to be trained for the new curriculum.

She said, "Even if training is given, it is not possible to make everyone experienced. Because the talent and capacity of all teachers are not the same. Not all standards are the same, there will be many variations. We are just getting started, trying to take it forward now."

The Education Minister said that students' dependence on memorization will decrease with the new curriculum.

She said that the new curriculum has the skills needed to develop a student.

The minister said, "There will be no discrimination between men and women. It is being paved the way to develop the potential that it has. Everyone can move forward according to their talent and ability. Will contribute to the country, become tech-friendly and efficient. Humane and creative people will be at the same time."
