Own Correspondent, Dhaka, Sept 15: Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina said, what did Bangladesh get during the visit to India, it is a relative question. As a friendly country, India is cooperating in all matters. I can't say that we returned empty-handed on this trip as well.

She said that Bangladesh is a country with India on all sides. On one side is a small border with Myanmar. The Bay of Bengal across the rest of the border, we also have to keep this in mind. The biggest thing is that all parties in India are united about Bangladesh.

The Prime Minister said these things in response to various questions from journalists at a press conference organized on her visit to India at Ganabhaban on Wednesday (September 14) afternoon.

The Prime Minister said that Bangladesh has achieved significant achievements during this visit. After the Indo-Pakistani war in 1965, rail and road connectivity was completely closed. One by one they are all starting.

Criticizing the statement of BNP leaders on the Prime Minister's visit to India, Sheikh Hasina said that even after India has done so much, BNP keeps saying nothing has happened. It's a matter of mindset and confidence.

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina went on a four-day state visit to India on September 5. During the visit, seven agreements and memorandums of understanding were signed between Bangladesh and India on water management, railways, science and technology, information and broadcasting.

During the visit, discussions were held between Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina at Hyderabad House. Security cooperation, investment, growing trade relations, cooperation in the power and energy sector, common river water distribution, water resource management, border management, and prevention of drug smuggling and human trafficking are given importance.

After the visit, the Prime Minister landed at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport on a special plane of Biman Bangladesh Airlines last Thursday (September 8) at 8:05 pm.
