Bangabandhu Tribute Indian High Commissioner pays tribute to Bangabandhu's portrait
Own Correspondent, Dhaka, 16 August 2023: On the 48th martyrdom anniversary and National Mourning Day of the Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, Indian High Commissioner Pranay Verma, posted in Dhaka, has paid deep respect to him.
On Tuesday, he placed a wreath at the portrait of the Father of the Nation kept in front of the Bangabandhu Memorial Museum at 32 Dhanmondi in the capital.
High Commissioner Pranay Verma and his wife Manu Verma paid tribute to the 48th death anniversary of the Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman on August 15 at the Bangabandhu Memorial Museum in Dhaka's Dhanmondi, the Indian High Commission said on Wednesday. Later the High Commissioner went to Bangabandhu's residence and recorded and signed the comments in the book kept there.
