Teaching Information Minister continues to teach
Own correspondent, Dhaka, 25 August 2023: Minister of Information and Broadcasting and Joint General Secretary of Awami League, environmentalist Dr. Hasan Mahmud, continued to take classes in the university despite being busy with political, national and local development responsibilities. On Wednesday afternoon, he went to Dhaka University from the Ministry to take classes.
The minister received a doctorate in environmental chemistry from Limburg University Centrum, Belgium. He was awarded the Green Cross International Award in 2015 for his active role in the global environmental movement. Dr. Hasan Mahmud is currently taking a class on Earth Biosphere in the eighth semester of honors as a part-time professor in the Department of Oceanography of Dhaka University.
He has taught online even during the Corona epidemic, returned to the classroom when the outbreak of the epidemic subsided, continued to teach despite the increasing busyness day by day.
It should be noted that Information and Broadcasting Minister Dr. Hasan has previously taught at Jahangirnagar University, North South and East West University, Harvard and Cornell University in the United States, Melbourne University in Australia, City University of London in the United Kingdom, National Defense College of the country (NDC) in various institutions of the country and abroad. Invited and gave special lectures on different occasions.
