Japanese City Computer to expand business in Chittagong
Dhaka, June 11, 2023 : Japanese city computer company Bandao will expand its business in Chittagong city using its geographical advantage.
The Chittagong Chamber of Commerce and Industry Director Ram-Lee during the exchange of views Chittagong Japanese City Computer Company Ltd. (CCK) leaders are of the opinion.
CCK Chittagong Branch President Kaohara Yasohiro, DGM Keshi Saito and Chittagong AOTS Alumni Society Advisor Mohammad Firoz Shah spoke at the event under the chairmanship of Chamber President Mahbubul Alam at the Chamber office at World Trade Center on Saturday afternoon.
At this time, among others, the director of the Chamber. Ahid Siraj Chowdhury (Swapan), Zahirul Islam Chowdhury (Alamgir), Anjan Shekhar Das, Md. Omar Farooq, Md. Iftekhar Faisal, SM Tahsin Jonaid, Mohammad Adnanul Islam and Tanvir Mostafa Chowdhury were present.
Chamber president Mahbubul Alam said that Japan is a reliable friend of Bangladesh. Japan has a large investment in the current infrastructure development of the country.
Among these are the construction of Matarbari deep sea port, metro rail and third terminal at Shahjalal Airport. Besides, Japanese big companies are interested in investing in Bangladesh by using the geographical advantage of the country.
Especially in Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Shilpa Nagar in Chittagong, some Japanese companies are coming forward to invest on the basis of joint partnership.
Hopefully, many more Japanese companies will come forward to invest using Chittagong's geographical and existing infrastructure facilities.
Chittagong Chamber has launched Japan Desk to provide all kinds of assistance to Japanese investors. Also, Chittagong Chamber is ready to provide all kinds of services as a partner of the government to increase foreign investment in the country, said the president of the chamber.
Note that CCK is a Japanese IT company. Apart from Japan, the company has operations in USA, Philippines and Chittagong, Bangladesh.
