Jatiya Party Jatiya Party starts distributing election nomination forms
Dhaka, Nov 20: The Jatiya Party will participate in the 12th National Parliament elections to be held on January 7. The distribution of party nomination forms has started today (Monday, November 20), which will continue till November 21. The party's joint office secretary Mahmud Alam confirmed the matter on Sunday.
Party nomination forms will be distributed and received from Jatiya Party (JP) chairman's office located at Banani from 10 am to 4 pm every day. Candidates will be interviewed in two sections daily from 10 am to 4 pm. The cost of Jatiya Party nomination form is Tk 30,000.
On November 24 Rangpur and Rajshahi Division, November 25 Khulna and Barisal Division, November 26 Dhaka and Mymensingh Division, November 27 Chittagong and Sylhet Division candidates will be interviewed. Jatiya Party will release the list of final candidates on November 28.
According to the schedule announced by the Election Commission of Bangladesh on the occasion of the 12th National Assembly elections, the last date for submission of nomination papers is November 30, the date of selection of nomination papers by the Returning Officer is December 1-4, the last date for withdrawal of candidature is December 17, allotment of symbols is December 18 and the date of polling is January 7 next year.
