And his successors Begum Khaleda Zia and Tarique Rahman started the fire-terror.
He said these things at a discussion meeting organized by Dhaka Metropolitan South Awami League in front of the Awami League's central office at Bangabandhu Avenue on Tuesday afternoon. This discussion meeting was organized on the occasion of the day of killing of freedom fighters.
Obaidul Quader said that Ziaur Rahman killed many freedom fighters and soldiers including Colonel Taher. This Zia assassination launched the politics of conspiracy, and his successors launched arson terror.
He said Ziaur Rahman did not let Colonel Taher live. He was hanged. How many soldiers have Zia killed and how many freedom fighters have been ordered to be hanged while having breakfast. The successors of that Ziaur Rahman want to sit down again in Bangladesh today. They want to destroy the democracy of Bengal.
Criticizing the postponement of BNP's November 7 programme, Awami League General Secretary said, "Where is BNP now? Where did the leaps go? Where did the excesses go? Today I want to ask the question, whose day is November 7? What is BNP's day? National Day? National Day program too. This party postponed it. They are cowards... They don't deserve to do politics."
He said, "Have I lied? It's their day, their national day, their revolution and solidarity day. They don't even dare to visit the shrine of their party's founder Ziaur Rahman. Does the politics of these cowards suit them? This is where their courage to protest was understood."
Obaidul Quader said that all the events that happened behind the scenes in this country have made our history bloody and tarnished. Ziaur Rahman is the mastermind behind the murders on November 3. This Zia is the same Zia who saved Colonel Taher's life in the guise of the Sepahi crowd. He was imprisoned. Was imprisoned in the cantonment. rescued him.
