Own Correspondent, Dhaka, 26 January 2024: Law Minister Anisul Haque said that the Labor Act will be passed in the next session of Parliament.

He said this while talking to reporters at Akhaura railway station in the district on Friday morning.

Dr. Muhammad Yunus's case has violated the law. In response to the comments of 12 US senators, the law minister said, "As far as I know and have seen the documents of the case, I can say that the trial was conducted fairly according to the law in the judicial court." I won't say more than that. Whoever is convicted will surely appeal. I don't want there to be any influence.

He said that those who have been sentenced by the country's courts will take initiative to bring them back to the country. I will try to strengthen the initiative that is there.

The Law Minister came to Akhaura from Dhaka in the morning by inter-city Mahanagar morning train to attend various functions including mass reception organized by Awami League of Akhaura Upazila of his constituency Brahmanbaria-4 (Kasba and Akhaura). Deputy Commissioner Mohammad Habibur Rahman, Superintendent of Police Md Shakhawat Hossain welcomed him at Akhaura railway station.
