Dhaka, July 10: The government has imposed a nationwide hard lockdown to prevent the  of corona. Law enforcers have set up checkposts at different points of the capital to implement the lockdown. Meanwhile, people are trying to enter Dhaka with various excuses. Police questioned a young madrassa student on Friday (July 9th) when he tried to enter the capital in a fancy burqa.

According to the madrasa student named Alam, the police arrested him when he went out on the street in Lockdown, so he planned to enter the capital by walking through Gabtali wearing a burqa and socks to evade the eyes of the law enforcers.

The police searched his body to find out if the purpose of wearing the burqa was to enter the capital or if he had any other motive. He was also interrogated at the time. He further said in the police interrogation that he came to the capital on foot from Hemayetpur in Savar and will go to Jatrabari. However, he was giving different types of information from time to time about who will go to Jatrabari, acquaintances or relatives.

Acting Police Sergeant Abu Sufian said, "While we were on duty at the check post, a man wearing a burqa was crossing the Gabtoli check post through Amin Bazar Bridge. We interrogate him if we suspect. Later I found out that she is not a girl wearing a burqa, she is actually a boy. However, we are looking into the reason why he has caught this."

He added that the boy had identified himself as a student of a madrasa. We are talking to the police about this matter.

Another traffic sergeant on duty at Gabtoli checkpost, Asadur Rahman, said, "We interrogated the boy wearing the burqa. We are looking into where he was going or what his destination was. The boy initially told us that he had brought this burqa from his mother. Mao came to the capital and knew about it. We are trying to contact the boy's family."
