Dhaka, October 4: Forty-five people were rescued alive in the incident of trawler sinking near Baharchara of Teknaf Upazila of Cox's Bazar on the way to Malaysia illegally.

The police recovered the bodies of three girls in this incident. On Tuesday (October 4) at noon, the three bodies were recovered from Shilkhali area of ​​Baharchhara upazila.

Inspector Noor Mohammad in charge of Baharchhara Police Investigation Center said that the bodies of three girls have been recovered from the sinking of a trawler loaded with Rohingya on the sea route to Malaysia. Earlier 39 people were rescued alive. Later six more people were rescued alive.

This police officer also said that they were rescued from a place between Holbaniya and Kaderpara in coastal Baharchhara. The trawler left Kachpiya area of ​​Maheshkhali early on Tuesday morning. Later it sank in the middle of the sea. Meanwhile, they tried to come up to the shore from the place between Holbania and Kaderpara.
