Man gets his wife back 10 months after marriage

Own Correspondent, Dhaka, Nov 14: The love of a young couple won in the High Court. Youth Shyam Sundar of Badarganj, Rangpur got his wife back after 10 months in an order given by the High Court on Sunday.

His wife Hema Sharma was being tortured by her mother and maternal uncles since the day after their marriage. Shyam Sundar filed a writ in the High Court to get his wife back. At the end of the hearing, the court ordered to settle the writ. In the order, the court directed Hema Sharma to surrender her husband Shyam Sundar's hand. Then Shyam Sundar understood his wife in the courtroom.

On Sunday (November 13), Justice Md. Mojibur Rahman Miah and Justice Kazi Md. Izarul Haque Akander High Court bench settled this sensational writ.

Earlier, the hearing on this writ ended on October 31. Advocate Tajul Islam heard on behalf of Shyam Sundar in the court. Deputy Attorney General Arvind Kumar Roy appeared for the state.

After the hearing on October 31, the High Court ordered Hema Sharma's mother Savitri Roy, uncle Ganesh Sharma, and Narayan Sharma to appear in court on Sunday (November 13). Accordingly, today Hema Sharma was brought to the court by her mother and uncle. Hema Sharma was produced in the court under police guard. The court wants to hear his statement. Then Hema Sharma told the court that she is an adult woman. She married Shyam Sundar Roy for love. They want to be together. At this time, Hema Sharma became very emotional. She details the torture she was subjected to for marrying Shyam Sundar. He also told the court that he had filed a false case against her husband.

The court also heard the statements of Hema's mother, uncle, Shyam Sundar, and her father. Later the court ordered to hand over his wife Hema Sharma to Shyam Sundar Roy.

It is known that Shyam Sundar and Hema Sharma got married according to religious rules on January 13 this year. Before that, they completed the affidavit at the notary public in Rangpur on November 21 last year. After learning about the marriage, Hema was forcibly taken away by her family the next morning.
