Dhaka, April 19: The temperature in different parts of the country, including Dhaka, has dropped a little more. But a comfortable situation has not yet emerged. A little rain has been seen in Sylhet region amid hot weather. In next 24 hours there may be rain in one-two places in Sylhet. At the same time, the Meteorological Department has predicted thunderstorms in two other parts of the country, including Dhaka.

Meteorologists said that now the trend of stormy rain will gradually increase. But it will take some more time for the temperature to drop to a comfortable state. Two days ago, the maximum temperature in Dhaka crossed 40 degrees, but it has reduced a lot in two days. Today the maximum temperature in Dhaka has decreased by one degree compared to yesterday at 37.1 degree Celsius. The maximum temperature in Dhaka was 38.1 degrees Celsius on Monday.

Meteorologist Md. Omar Faruque, giving the weather forecast for the next 24 hours from 6 pm on Tuesday (April 18), said that two and a half places in Mymensingh, Dhaka, Chittagong and Sylhet divisions may experience rain or thunder with gusty winds. At the same time, there may be scattered hailstorms in some parts of the country. Besides, the weather will remain mainly dry with partly cloudy sky elsewhere in the country.

Currently, severe heat wave is flowing over Dinajpur, Rajshahi, Pabna and Chuadanga districts. Apart from this, mild to moderate heat waves are flowing over Panchagarh, Rangpur, Nilphamari, Moulvibazar, Rangamati and Bandarban districts and Dhaka and Barisal divisions along with remnants of Rajshahi and Khulna divisions.
