Weather Forecast Met Dept predicts rain in different parts of country including Dhaka
Dhaka, Sept 4: A mild heatwave is blowing over several districts of the country. The Meteorological Department said that there is a possibility of rain at different places across all the divisions. Along with that, moderate to heavy rainfall may occur at some places.
The Meteorological Department shared this information in the next 24-hour forecast on Monday (September 4) at 9 am.
According to the Meteorological Department, the axis of monsoon winds extends across India's Rajasthan, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, West Bengal and southern parts of Bangladesh to Assam. An extension of it extends to the northern Bay of Bengal. Monsoon is less active over Bangladesh and moderate over North Bay of Bengal.
According to the forecast, many places in Dhaka, Khulna, Barisal, Chittagong and Sylhet divisions and some places in Rajshahi and Mymensingh divisions may experience light to moderate rain with thundershowers temporarily with gusty winds. Also, there may be moderate to heavy rainfall in some parts of the country.
It has been said that mild heat wave is flowing over Sylhet division including Mymensingh, Bogra, Naoga, Rangpur, Dinajpur and Nilphamari districts and it may subside from some areas.
The Met department added that day temperature likely to decrease slightly and night temperature may remain almost unchanged across the country.
