Dhaka, April 1: Modern technology is being used to control the admission test in colleges and universities of the country. Health and Family Welfare Minister Zahid Maleque said this while inspecting the Medical Admission Test Center for 2021-22 academic year at Kala Bhaban of Dhaka University on Friday (April 1).

"We take the medical college admission test very carefully," he said. Here we use modern technology. We digitally track the cars that carry the question. Sitting in the office of the Director General (DG) we can see where the car is going, stopping or when it is leaving. Even if the box in which the question is taken is opened, it is understood whether it is being opened or closed.

Regarding the overall management of the medical admission test, Zahid Maleque said, "We have taken all kinds of precautions for safety." Police and RAB are on duty here. We are also monitoring Facebook and WhatsApp. Meanwhile, two people have been arrested. Those who get fake question papers and say 'got the question', basically want to sell fake questions with money. Legal action is being taken against them. Hopefully nothing bad will happen. We are careful.

"I went to one or two halls and the exams started well," he said. Tests are going on all over the country. So far we have not heard of any untoward incident. I also talked to the students. They said the question has become standard.

The health minister said there are 72 private and 37 government medical colleges in the country. The number of seats in public and private medical colleges is 10,839. Admission test has already started against these seats. There are 19 centers for this purpose. 1 lakh 43 thousand 915 students are giving admission test in medical this time. Which is more than in previous years. There are 57 venues and 1,792 halls in the country.
