Dhaka, December 16: State Minister for Women and Children Fazilatun Nessa Indira has said that more sculptures will installed in the country.

She was speaking as the chief guest at a seminar titled 'National Prosperity Achieved through Consciousness of Liberation War and Best Use of Digital Technology in Building the Golden Bengal of Father of the Nation's Dream' organized by Bangladesh Shishu Academy at noon on Wednesday (December 16).

Indira said, "But now Bangladesh is no longer a bottomless basket. Now the basket of Bangladesh is full of food. But now no one lives empty-handed, empty-legged, empty-bellied."

"Ziaur Rahman planted the poisonous tree of communalism soon after coming to power. Today, his successors, even after 50 years of independence, speak out against sculpture, breaking it. Those who hit the sculpture, they not only hit the sculpture, they hit Bangabandhu. They have struck at secularism, the values of freedom and the spirit of the liberation war. But it can't go on. The new generation will never be able to accept that."

"One thing fundamentalists need to remember is that you have said a lot against women," she said. You have spoken against women's rights. In what right do you say. Isn't your mother a woman? Isn't your sister a woman? I will tell the women that you also came out today. The women who knew that they would lose their sons in the great liberation war of 1971 sent their sons to the battlefield. Knowing they would be widows, the women sent their husbands to the battlefield. Women have fought with arms despite knowing they will be raped."

"Those women will never give place to fundamentalists in this country. There will be no place for fundamentalists in this land soaked in the blood of 3 million martyrs. Their place will be in Pakistan. That is why the Razakars of Pakistan should return to Pakistan, otherwise your grave will be created."
