More than 9 lakh people vaccinated, 426 report side effects
Dhaka, February 15: More than 9,00,000 people have been vaccinated in the ongoing coronavirus vaccination program across the country. Among them are 6,26,469 males and 2,79,564 females. In addition, 426 people reported adverse event following immunization (AEFI) from January 27 to Sunday (February 14).
A total of 1,69,353 people were vaccinated at vaccination centers across the country, including the capital, on Sunday (February 14). Of these, 1 lakh 89 thousand 353 are men and 56 thousand 505 are women.

According to the departmental statistics, out of the total 9 lakh 8 thousand 33 people who received the vaccine - 2 lakh 39 thousand 972 people in Dhaka, 41 thousand 275 in Mymensingh, 2 lakh 18 thousand 215 in Chittagong, 1 lakh 4 thousand 703 in Rajshahi, 85 thousand 16 in Rangpur, 1 lakh 449 in Khulna. , 39 thousand 392 people in Barisal and 77 thousand 11 people in Sylhet division.
Of the 1,69,353 people who have been vaccinated in the last 24 hours, 45,914 are in Dhaka division, 7,357 in Mymensingh division, 39,703 in Chittagong division, 18,965 in Rajshahi division, 15,218 in Rangpur division, 19,802 in Khulna division and 19,602 in Barisal division 9 thousand 198 and 13 thousand 196 people have been vaccinated in Sylhet division.
On January 27, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina inaugurated the Corona Vaccine Program. The next day, on January 28, five government hospitals in the capital and later on February 7, the vaccination program began across the country, including the capital.
