Dhaka, January 28: Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has said that the keynote of Bangladesh's foreign policy is 'friendship with all, enmity with no one'. In that light, we are moving forward while maintaining good international relations. He was speaking at the graduation convocation of the DSCSC 2020-2021 course of the Command and Staff College of the Armed Forces on Thursday (January 26) morning. This time 225 people took part in the course, out of which 43 were foreign officials.

Addressing the graduates, the Prime Minister said, 'Today is a special day in your life. You have had to work hard and persevere for 11 long days for this day. You have acquired higher knowledge of military, national and international issues. I believe that the knowledge gained from this training will help you to fulfill the responsibilities entrusted to you efficiently and to face various challenges. Because remember, the world is a village. No one can walk alone here. Everyone has to move on. For this, the scope of knowledge has to be widened.

Sheikh Hasina said, 'The graduates of this institute will take the country to a stable, sustainable, self-reliant and above all glorious position through their acquired knowledge, will and commitment. Remember, we have liberated this country in exchange for the blood of millions of martyrs. We want to make the country developed and prosperous.

She said, 'We have formulated a 2021-2041 perspective plan to build a developed and prosperous country. Through which I want to see, what will be the Bangladesh of 41. By implementing this, Bangladesh will be a developed and prosperous country in the world. The officers who have completed today's graduation will be the soldiers to implement my plan. They will work to brighten the image of the country.

She added, 'We want to ensure the benefits of the city in every village. We want to see what Bangladesh will be like in 2100. That's why I planned Delta. So that our delta is protected from the effects of climate change. Maybe we won't stay forever. Even then I am making plans. So that generation after generation gets a better life. '

The Prime Minister said, 'Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman set up a military academy. On 15 January 1975, he addressed the first outgoing cadets of the Military Academy at Comilla. He said at the time, "Given the full potential, our boys will be able to deal with any soldier in any country. I believe we will build an academy where people from all over the world will come to see us. 'That was the dream and aspiration of the father of the nation.'
