Winter Naogaon records season's lowest temperature at 11.4°C
Dhaka, Dec 11: In the northern districts, the severity of winter has increased. All around is covered in thick fog. The lowest temperature in the country so far this season was recorded at 11.4 degrees Celsius in Naogaon's Badalgachi upazila on Monday (December 11).
Confirming this information, Hamidul Haque, senior observer of Meteorological Department of Naogaon's Badalgachi Upazila said, "The temperature has started to decrease due to the northerly frosty wind blowing with thick fog. Severe cold is felt due to the decrease in the temperature gap. Badalgachi of Naogaon recorded a temperature of 11.4 degrees Celsius on Monday. Temperature is likely to drop further."
He said that the temperature on Monday is 2.6 degrees Celsius less than Sunday's. Badalgashi recorded a minimum temperature of 14 degrees Celsius on Sunday.
The sudden drop in temperature has increased the sufferings of common people.
